The challenge

Our goal was to enable the entire Haddad Brands team to be gathered within one, modern digital environment. The success was to be measured by higher satisfaction of teams, lower number of costly human errors, more control, and flexibility over the product lifecycle, scalability. All for a company that is creating full children’s clothing collections since 1948. The challenge here was to do all this while enabling a smooth transition from the pre-existing setup.

The process

We had to be very realistic with the product. It’s aimed at helping people do their daily work better, so there is no space for missed designs and inefficiency. On the other hand, we’re lucky to have a very competent and results-driven team on our client’s side. We started by understanding the process and environment the teams are working with at a series of discovery sessions, where we scoped the product. Our client also picked the first divisions of the company that will be onboarded. This allowed us to deliver valuable and working parts of PLM quickly and be flexible enough to prepare a deliver software with every sprint we finish.

The solution

As a team responsible for a complete design, project management, and front-end development of the new interface, we we’re teamed with backend developers on our client’s end. We specify the requirements for the API endpoints and discussing them with the team on our client’s side. The result is a modern, well-structured product that works swiftly, is made without compromising on user satisfaction and richness of the UI. The team claims it’s “exactly what they imagined” and that they “love it”. We’re really proud of ourselves and excited to further develop the extensive solution.
